Dogs rule! Audi's 2014 Super Bowl commercial for the A3 features the cross-bred Doberhuahua, a Doberman and Chihuahua hybrid with a huge head, a tiny body and lots of energy. The CGI pooch is hilarious and causes lots of headaches, but singer Sarah McLachlan has his back.

A couple can't decide which dog they want to bring home when it is suggested that they breed a Doberman and a Chihuahua, which is the ultimate form of compromise. They can have both. The results? Well...

...such an experiment goes horribly, horribly wrong. The dog is misunderstood and even has animal rights activist McLachlan lobbying for love and support of the breed. The canine pretty much destroys everything in its path.

The whole concept of the spot is that compromise can be terrifying, so don't settle for it. The A3 doesn't stand for it; neither should you with your pets.

The couple eventually adopts a rescue, refusing to compromise. That's probably why McLachlan, whose tear-jerking animal shelter commercials tug at our heart strings, appeared! We love when a commercial has two meanings -- buy an Audi, adopt a shelter pet.
