25 Year Anniversary of Baby Jessica Rescued

On this day (October 16th) 25 years ago the world was glued to the TV watching and praying that a little 18 month old baby girl would be rescued.I was 12 years old in 1987- I was with my mother watching the news and thinking how are they going to get baby Jessica out.  It was 58 and half hours of all of us glue to the TV watching the medical and drilling teams work together to save that little girls life.   It was  such a tearful time in Midland Texas- when she was finally above rescued. I think the whole world relaxed and cheered!
