This season, one player will make more in salary than all of the players on another team. Does that sound right?

Alex Rodriguez, the third baseman for the New York Yankees, will start the year on the disabled list with no set date for his return. He will make $29 million regardless of whether ever steps onto the field.

Meanwhile, the players on the Houston Astros—the entire team—will make a combined $25 million.

Sure, the Astros are in rebuilding mode, and we're not saying A-Rod should give back the money the Yankees agreed to pay him, but still. Something seems a bit out of whack here, doesn't it?
