Andrews Residents Speak Out About Nuclear Waste Site

A public hearing was held Wednesday (02/15/17) about the nuclear waste site in Andrews County.

According to NewsWest 9, many residents voiced their concerns for their children growing up around such a site.

Others addressed concerns about contamination to the water supply and other aspects in connection with the proposed site.

WCS officials are expecting an approval of the license sometime in 2019, but Andrews residents will continue to make sure their voices and concerns are heard.
