Back From A Weekend Of Tears And Hope, Soon To Share With You

As you all know, Roxi and I spent the weekend in Memphis attending the Radio Cares for St. Jude Seminar, where radio programmers, air staff and sales come together to prepare our fundraising efforts for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

During our time there, we get to visit the hospital, meet paitients and their families and learn about their cutting-edge advancements in cancer research.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is such an amazing place; miracles really do happen in Memphis! The spirit, theme and attitude is one of hope. When families have been given the worst news of their lives, St. Jude is a place that calms their worst fears and begins to fight the cancer right then there, to save their child.

It becomes truly amazing to everyone who tours the hospital, how all of it started with one man’s dream to make sure “No child should die in the dawn of life.” What started with one man has now turned in to millions carrying out the vision: From doctors to nurses to scientist to people who give. It is now a global dream, a dream you can be a part of by becoming a "Partner In Hope" during our upcoming fundraiser.
