BBC’s ‘Top Gear’ Clocked at 220.5mph on America’s Fastest Road

When SH130 in Austin, Texas opened last Tuesday - with the fastest speed limit in the western hemisphere - the guys from BBC’s Top Gear were there to see just how fast they could go on the new toll road.

They were invited by John Hennessy to drive two his company's supercars: A Camaro ZL-1 and a Hennessey CTS-VR. Monitored by the Texas DPS, both cars burned down the new tollway it over 200 mph.
