Blood Donations Low in the Permian Basin

The Permian Basin area would not be prepared for a huge incident like the one in Orlando because blood supply is critically low.

According to NewsWest 9, United Blood Services is running low on resources and say that if an incident like the mass shooting in Orlando happened locally, they would not have enough resources to help out the victims.

UBS says for every person that donates blood, three lives can be saved.

Blood drives will be held today (Tuesday June 14th) in Midland and Odessa. The location in Midland is Texas Roadhouse 4512 N. Loop 250 West, and at the Budweiser Distribution Center in Odessa at 200 S. JBS Parkway.
