Ed Sheeran released the music video for his new "Castle on a Hill" single today (January 23), and it's all good times and terrible weather: Like the song, it revisits Sheeran's life growing up in the town of Framlingham in Suffolk, England.

The George Belfield-directed clip finds a baby-faced Young Ed Sheeran (our favorite Ed Sheeran music video stand-in since Rupert Grint in the "Lego House" visual, and the puppet version of Ed in his "Sing" video) whiling away his teen years in the same way that many do (going for rides in the car, making out, drinking beer) and in some ways not every teen gets to do (running through the lush green landscape of rural England).

And while he cherishes that time with his Framlingham friends, the video matches the show's flash-forward of what became of them in adulthood: "One had two kids but lives alone / One's brother overdosed / One's already on his second wife."

"Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You" are the first singles from Sheeran's third studio album "÷" (divide), which debuts on March 3 via Atlantic Records.
