It is time to celebrate America's Birthday!

The Fourth of July is just around the corner, so you can start making your plans now! Here is what you need to know before you make your plans.

 

 

 

 

 

If you are in Midland you can go downtown to the Star Spangled Salute. It happens downtown Midland Thursday, July 4. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. They will have kids activities, live music and a fireworks display. Registration for the children's parade will be at 9:00 am and the parade will begin at 10:00 am. The evening events will begin at 6:00 pm. The events will take place at Centennial Plaza and the Midland Center. Also in Midland you can celebrate the 4th with America's favorite pastime, at the ballpark. The Midland Rockhounds will have fireworks displays both the 3rd and the 4th, after the baseball game. On July 4th the Midland Rockhounds will salute some of America's heroes, members of the Military Gates open at 6:00 the first pitch at 7:00 pm. If you are going to celebrating in Odessa, then you won't want to miss Fire Cracker Fandango. Fire Cracker Fandango will happen downtown Odessa on Thursday July 4th.

There will be food booths, kids activities, a classic car show, and music from the Electric Cowboys and Kyle Park. For more information you can call  432-335-4682. Advance tickets are on sale at Endless Horizons in Odessa or Vision Audio in Midland.
