If you have been guilty of saying, 'There's nothing to do in West Texas...', check out what's happening this week with Midland Community Theater!
Thursday night is the September performance of Improv At The Yucca, performed by the Colorado Street Players, with Tim Jebsen at your host, Jessi Timm-Willmann as the co-host and performers Greg Alexander, Mike Harrell, Jeff Neely, Derrick Russell, Phil Tytanic and Jena Tumlin. Bar opens at 7 p.m. at the Yucca Theatre (208 North Colorado in downtown Midland) and the show is at 8 p.m.
There are also four performances of URINETOWN this weekend,directed by Carl Beery Moore with set design by Lauren Ayn Lusk, costume design by Micheal Heath Willhelm-Waid, and lighting and sound design by Eddie Taylor - the show stars Cody Tumlin, Kyle Gross, Kristen Cantrell Loyd, Mark Kaufman, Michael Fields, Matthew Nicholson, Jenna Petty, Cody Petty, Maija Johnson-Horne, Daryl Berry,Billy Baker, Sarah Ross, Wendi Fuller, Drew Henry, Scott Aycock andCaroline Englestad. After this weekend, there are still two weekends left of this hilarious musical so come enjoy the fun.
Finally, MCT presents 'A Streetcar Named Desire', opening on October 24, 2014 in Mabee Theatre II. Directed by Steve Reynolds, the show stars Cody Petty, Jami Witt Miller, Laura Metzger-Bond, Daniel Collins, Cherie Bales, Darryl Bales, Max Vis, Joshua Davis Byard, Elizabeth McLellan and David Vandermeer.
