When we first saw Ashton Kutcher all dressed up as the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, we were blown away by the authentic transformation. Now we can finally get a taste of his Jobs acting chops in the first 'jOBS' trailer, released by Open Road Films.

Josh Gad stars opposite Kutcher in this film, which tells of the Apple monolith's early beginnings, as Steve Wozniak. On his co-star's portrayal of Jobs, who passed away in late 2011, Gad said Kutcher "sent a ripple of shock throughout the set. Everyone was like, ‘We’re in the presence of Jobs. Let’s go do this.’" And here's a taste of that ripple.

Debuting first on Yahoo Movies, the 'jOBS' trailer throws around a lot of phrases -- "The Original Visionary," "The Original Rebel," etc. -- coupled with Macklemore's "Can't Hold Us" to get everyone hyped for this film. And it works, for the most part. If anything, we're interested to see this dramatized origin story of Apple for the same reasons we all wanted to see 'The Social Network' -- we want that wow factor and to see a human side to one of the most famous companies of all time.

'jOBS' opens in theaters Aug. 16.
