As Kesha announced last Friday (January 22), she is scheduled to find out the fate of her recording career on Tuesday, January 26. That's when her lawsuit against Dr. Luke and her record label Sony is scheduled for court. Update: Due to inclement weather, Kesha’s court case has been postponed to Friday, February 19. The singer wrote a note to fans on Twitter confirming the frustrating news.

“I love everyone. Thank you for your support. Due to travel problems with the weather it’s been postponed until 2/19,” she said.

In an effort to calm her nerves before the trial, Kesha shared a cellphone recording of herself delivering a cover of "Amazing Grace." Add this cover to the growing list of unexpected yet delightful things she has done since she can't release new music of her own.

"Good morning everybody," a drowsy Kesha begins. "I love you guys more than you will ever know. It's like mind-blowing. I can't put out new music, but I can sing a little something of someone else's songs or something that exists, so what should I sing?" Her answer is her breathy (and breathtaking) cover.

Kesha also aired her nervousness and anticipation via Instagram this morning (January 25). Despite her nerves, she is still managing to look on the bright side in the name of art, her fans, and her passion for advocacy:
