UPDATE (2/20): Watch the intergalactic video for Lana Del Rey's lead single "Love," directed by Rich Lee, above.

"I made my first 4 albums for me, but this one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed," Lana says of her forthcoming studio album.

ORIGINAL POST: Less than 24 hours after mysterious teaser posters began popping up all over Hollywood, Lana Del Rey has released her first new song of 2017: "LOVE."

On the brand new track off her forthcoming fifth studio album, Lana returns to her shadowy, cinematic pop roots (a la 2012's glistening Born to Die) to craft an enchanting mid-tempo ode to the hope of youth and young love.

"Look at you kids with your vintage music / Comin' through satellites while cruisin' / You're part of the past, but now you're the future / Signals crossing can get confusing," she croons wistfully over a sparse, smokey soundscape, punctuating her observations with bemusement: "It's enough just to make you feel crazy, crazy, crazy." (And truly, it is.)

As the chorus kicks in, Lana finds beauty and poignancy in the monotony of the daily grind ("You get ready, you get all dressed up / To go nowhere in particular / ...Doesn't matter cause it's enough"), her gossamer voice gliding over a zephyr of romantic synths. "To be young and in luh-uhhhh-uh-ove," she carols, sweeping all the tribulations of life away with promises of optimistic adoration.

"Uh huh, don't worry, baby...": Lana's back now, and everything's going to be okay.

You can purchase "LOVE" on iTunes now.
