Lawsuit Filed to Keep Haliburton From Taking Over Baker Hughes

A lawsuit has been filed to stop Haliburton from acquiring Baker Hughes.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, a U.S. antitrust lawsuit has been filed to prevent the two rival companies form merging.

The Justice Department plans to file the lawsuit by the end of this week claiming the merger "threatens to substantially lessen competition in numerous markets."
