Local Sportscaster’s Impression of ‘Ron Burgundy’ is Beyond Epic

There are those who dress up as other people on Halloween and then there are those who become other people on Halloween. That's what makes Paul Gerke's imitation of Anchorman's Ron Burgundy, one of the most impressive ever!

Paul Gerke is the sports director of KIVI TV in Boise, Idaho, and last Thursday night he went on-air in Ron Burgundy regalia and reading the news like a man who has many leather-bound books and an apartment smells of rich mahogany.

His co-hosts fell flat and not knowing how to respond to the amazing imitation and one failed to get the character reference at all. Don't be surprised if you see this guy soon in a bigger market or even ESPN. Now watch quite possibly the best imitation of a guy doing an imitation of a news caster....and he stayed in character through out the entire piece!
