Midland College Police Get Body Cams

Midland College police officers just received their body cams after a year of searching for the right kind.

According to NewsWest 9, Midland College police officers can now record all encounters they have with the new body cams they have just received.

The cameras come after a year of planning and trying out different models.

Other police departments in the cities of Midland and Odessa have not yet gotten the funding to get body cams yet.

Midland College police will be trained on how to use the body cams by the official beginning of the college's year in July.
