Midland Women Organize ‘The Young and the Breastless’ Group For Breast Cancer Survivors

Women who have gone through breast cancer getting together with those who are currently going through it makes for a very blessed support group.

According to YourBasin.com, the group has actually been around since 2003 when Donna Cannon called Barbara Stubbs, a young mother of two girls who had just been diagnosed with breast cancer like she also had just been, and invited her to lunch.

Cannon says, "Suddenly there were 8 of us, and one of those members said, 'I think we should be called the Young and the Breastless' and so the group was born."
