Miles Teller may not have interest in concluding the Divergent franchise on the small screen, but that won’t stop Nicolas Winding Refn from luring him there. Teller will headline a new Amazon limited series from the Neon Demon director, becoming Too Old to Die Young.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Teller joins the assassin crime-thriller series in the role of Martin, described as “a police officer entangled in the criminal underbelly of Los Angeles.” Refn will direct the entire series, having written the project with Winter Soldier comic author Ed Brubaker.

In addition to the incredible Amazon logline of “killers’ existential journeys in becoming samurai,” here’s how THR describes the series:

Die Young tells of a grieving police officer who, along with the man who shot his partner, finds himself in an underworld filled with working-class hit men, Yakuza soldiers, cartel assassins sent from Mexico, Russian mafia captains and gangs of teen killers.

Amazon has plenty of high-profile limited series in the works, but what should we expect from Nicolas Winding Refn and Miles Teller’s TV collaboration?
