‘Monthly Shorts’ Uses Humor To Keep The Community Informed

Last year I got the gig for the City of Midland's monthly informational program, coincidentally called Monthly Shorts.

The producer, Ryan Stout, does all the work compiling the information, typing the script, then shooting and editing the program. Editing is probably what takes the most time since there are plenty of my screw-ups to edit out. The final product hits the city's website and YouTube at the beginning of every month.

Monthly Shorts even came in second in a national competition of locally produced community information programs. Not too shabby!

This month we cover events like:Speakers at the Midland Chamber of Commerce, immunizations, MARC and other events.
