A 9-year-old New Mexico boy who was playing his homemade drum kit along the road to raise money to buy a real drum set saw his dreams come true after a video of him playing hit Facebook and the donations started pouring in.

According to KRQE, Tony Easter has always loved music and was playing buckets, pots and pans along the road in Hobbs, New Mexico to raise money to buy a real drum kit.

Noel Goodrich said he was passing by and saw Tony rocking out, so he donated $5 and took a quick video, which he posted to Facebook, along of directions to where people could go donate to Tony:

Noel's Facebook post spread quickly, and the donations began pouring in. KRQE reported that a woman from Odessa drove to Hobbs to give Tony an electric drum set and that another family brought him a keyboard.

Tony's mother, Bonnie Hays said her son is loving the drum set and keyboard and has been playing them nonstop.

"For everybody who honked, thumbs up, donated equipment, donated change, thankyou. You made a 9-year-old boy's dream come true," she said.

Rock on, Tony. We salute you.
