There are several new movies that are in theaters this weekend including the latests Marvel offering, 'Ant-Man', 'Trainwreck' and 'Mr. Holmes'.

1. Marvel's 'Ant-Man'  (PG-13)

Paul Rudd plays a reformed thief who gets a suit that shrinks him and increases his strength.  Michael Douglas plays the guy who invented the suit, and Evangeline Lilly plays his daughter. They train him to use it so he can stop the villain Yellowjacket from weaponizing the technology.

T.I. and Michael Pena are part of his crew, and there's a cameo from your newest Avenger, The Falcon.

(SPOILER!) Paul will play Ant-Man again in next year's "Captain America: Civil War", which they tease in a scene during the credits. Stan Lee makes a cameo too, since Ant-Man is another one of the characters he helped create.

(Audi did an amusing video back in April where Stan shares the "subtle art of cameo acting" with people like Kevin Smith, Michael Rooker, and Tara Reid.  It even includes a cameo by Lou Ferrigno.  Check it out here.)

2.  'Trainwreck'  (R)  Trailer

Amy Schumer wrote and stars in a comedy about a woman trying to get over her fear of commitment, after she falls for a sports doctor played by Bill Hader'SNL's' Vanessa Brayer is her best friend, LeBron James and Amar'e Stoudemire play themselves, and Daniel RadcliffeMarisa Tomei and Method Man are in it too.

3.  "Mr. Holmes"  (PG)  Trailer

Ian McKellen plays an elderly Sherlock Holmes, who asks a boy to help him recall some of the details of his own life, particularly an unsolved case that forced him into retirement years ago.

If none of these movies thrill you, go see 'Jurassic World' one more time!
