New Plans Being Discussed For Major Intersection on Loop 250

Loop 250 and Hwy 191 is the busiest intersection on the loop, and new ideas are being brought up on how to improve traffic in that area.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the Permian Basin Metropolitan Planning Organization has put together some options for making the intersection a little better with traffic flow.

Proposals range from a cloverleaf type system at the intersection to a flyover overpass option.

Officials say the flyover is the most expensive but the better idea to help with the flow of traffic.
