Odessa Police Remind Citizens of Safe Zone to Make Exchanges After Aggravated Robbery

Just like Midland, Odessa has a Safe Exchange Zone where you can make exchanges of products you are buying or selling from online and Facebook sites.

According to NewsWest 9, after the recent aggravated robbery of a man who was trying to sell his Playstation, Odessa police are reminding citizens that they have a safe zone for people to make any exchanges of products they are buying or selling online.

You can make exchanges in the parking lot of the police station as well as the lobby, which is occupied by an armed officer 24/7.

All areas around the police station are covered by surveillance cameras to catch anything that might  go wrong with an exchange, unlike the location that the aggravated robbery victim was robbed and assaulted trying to make an online exchange for his Playstation.
