Robert Downey Jr. Wore His Finest Lederhosen for an ‘Iron Man 3′ Event in Germany [PHOTOS]

Robert Downey Jr. is no stranger to warming our hearts and making us laugh (seriously, we're pretty sure that man has ad libbed every single film he's ever been in), but he really got us when he showed up to the German photocall for 'Iron Man 3' wearing ... lederhosen.

Never has a man looked so good in a neckerchief and green socks.

Downey wore the nation-appropriate garb in Munich. And when in Munich, you do as the Munichs do. Or something.

Considering the April 12 event took place at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, it could've been even funnier -- he could've dressed up like David Hasselhoff to pay homage to one of Germany's inexplicably favorite celebs.
