Sara Bareilles had a concert at the House of Blues in Orlando, Fla. on Sunday (Dec. 15) and to help her sing her inspirational hit 'Brave,' she invited 4-year-old cancer patient Joshua to duet with her.

"I want to do something really, really special tonight. There is a very, very special, brand new friend of mine who has come to the show and I want to introduce him to you," Bareilles told the assembled crowd.

She continued, "You guys are going to just fall in love with him the way that I did. Can we welcome to the stage, Mr. Joshua?"

Joshua, who was diagnosed with leukemia on Feb. 28, then joined the 2014 Grammy nominee onstage. Joshua has taken up the motto for himself --"Be Brave"-- and considers Bareilles' song to be his personal anthem.
