Few jokes are as tired as "New Year's resolutions are hard!", but at least the latest episode of 'SNL' presented a joke as creaky as this in the form of a music video, which gives it far more life than it deserves. We don't know if "Resolution Revolution" will be a viral sensation like some of the show's past video sketches (probably not), but it's pretty funny and pretty darn catchy.

Guest host Drake joins Taran Killam, Jay Pharoah and new cast member Sasheer Zamata to sing about their big plans for the new year. For some of the them, the plan is simple: it's time to cut back on the sweets. For others, it's time to stop drinking. But then it gets weird and soon we get to see Pharoah getting it on with an inflatable sex doll and Drake cosplaying as a wizard. It's probably more odd than it is funny, but there are enough laughs to justify two minutes of your time.

Killam and Pharoah can do silly music videos like this in their sleep by now, so this sketch is more about seeing how Drake does with 'SNL''s particular brand of comedy and getting a look at Zamata. Both manage to do fairly well -- Zamata looks like she fits right in and Drake has that Justin Timberlake-esque "I'm here, so I might as well go all-out" quality. We approve.
