Tonight’s episode of the 'The Voice' (Nov. 19) kicked off with a bang as Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton performed their powerful duet of ‘Just a Fool’ from Aguilera’s brand-new album, ‘Lotus.’ Then Team Christina’s Sylvia Yacoub took the stage to deliver her cover of Alicia Keys’ ‘Girl On Fire.’

Yacoub’s rehearsals were watched closely by both her coach and A&R executive Ron Fair, who signed Aguilera to her very first record deal. “She has a God-given instrument, but she has to have the confidence to let it go,” Fair remarked. The singer once believed she was destined for law school, but her path changed drastically when she realized that music was her true calling.

Her powerful, piano-driven rendition of the song was a show-stopper, impressing all of the judges. Cee Lo Green commented that it was “a solid performance, as usual.” In Adam Levine’s words, “That was by far the most polished, refined, and in-control performance I’ve seen you do … I’m totally blown away.”

Shelton was quick to agree with his fellow judges. “People are gonna have a hard time forgetting about that performance; it was so spot-on,” he said. “You were on fire!” Aguilera exclaimed happily, “You took this home … You have it all, you blew me away.”

Now it's up to you, the viewers, to determine if she has what it takes to win. Every vote counts, so be sure to cast yours!
