Tomorrow, March 1st is Fat Tuesday, so get ready for some Mardi Gras celebrations all day throughout the 432! Several restaurants and bars are ready for the crowds looking to eat and drink like no other. lol I'll help you know where to get started whether you take the day off or hit up various places come 5 o'clock quittin' time.

I would have to say right off the bat I am not a Chinese food connoisseur by any means. I know what I personally like and the places I go to frequently. Leo can give you the scoop. Leo knows his stuff because Chinese food is his favorite! However, I do have my go-to's in Midland and Odessa. Check out my list and see if you agree these are the best?

What a special day it is! 2/22/22 Twosday many will be getting engaged, a coworker of ours here is actually getting married and what a special day for those who are celebrating a birthday today! Might I add to the fabulousness of this day by letting you know today's ayeaye holiday is, National Margarita Day! Now that I definitely intend to celebrate.

On this flashback Friday, who remembers the Kmart layaway? I had a conversation with my kids earlier this week about what layaways were. I told them that kids these days just don't understand how good they have it! These days they are used to asking for whatever they want and momma just has to come through, parents we always make it happen.

We take watching the 'big game' seriously. And by we I mean all of us, you included. Don't lie, you plan your big game party around who has the biggest tv in your crew! I'm talking about the big screen at Cinergy in Odessa!

Valentine's Day is next Monday. Wow! Didn't we just celebrate the new year? Anyhow, the time is NOW to decide what you are going to get for the love of your life. I have a suggestion just because I received this for lovers day a couple of years back and I loved it! A couples massage.

Look, don't come down on me. My hometown recently got one of these Amazon hubs and everytime I see it, I never really understood what it was for? I was scratching my head thinking why can't people just get their (weekly-or is that just me?) Amazon purchases delivered to their home?

Your first Father-Daughter dance is packed full of memories. Omigosh I think I was about 7 or 8 and I distinctly remember being so excited about it! I was in Girl Scouts and when they announced that we would be having a father-daughter dance I immediately went home that day, told my daddy about it and he said yes we will go! A girl's first love and first Valentine, her daddy.

If you have lived in the Permian for all or most of your life, you know of all the restaurants that have come and gone. We have had some good ones over the years, and we also have our mainstays. We have our favorites that we visit regularly, the place where everybody knows your name and what your drink and food order will be.
