Three years ago I took my first vacation to Las Vegas. As I prepare to go back at the end of this month, I take a look back at what made the first trip so much fun!
A few weeks ago, tracking for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation was supposedly in the toilet. Early reports suggested that Tom Cruise’s fifth outing as super-spy Ethan Hunt was not getting people excited. This would be the end, the experts said, of a franchise that has kept Cruise’s career surging forward for the past two decades. Well, that was apparently a big load of crap because Rogue Nation opened well and opened in the same ballpark as the rest of the franchise. Even with inflation differences, this series keeps on hitting the same box office sweet spot.
We're sending one lucky winner and a guest to see Sam Smith in concert, but we're also sending that winner to one of our favorite places to visit, San Diego!
Last week, I went to Vegas with my family. This was probably my 10th trip to Vegas in the past five years. Here are some thoughts coming away from the experience:
Over the weekend I made a quick trip to North Carolina and took in some excellent food, and visited the historic Biltmore Estate. I took a lot of photos.
Our are friends with Moody Gardens Josh Buckley and Amber Henderson came by this morning and brought some special guests. They were little boring since they were a dead starfish and the sponge but we did find out some interesting information about the species.
While we were on our 'Worst Vacation. Ever.', there were some bright points that made it into the 'WIN!' column. One of those was riding Disney's 'Expedition Everest' roller coaster!
