University of Texas Misspells ‘Texas’ On Every Page of New Media Guide
Football season is on the horizon. In only a few short weeks, Saturday’s will be filled with college football. This last week, all Big 12 teams met up in Dallas for the Big 12 Media days. Unfortunately for one school, a small typo resulted in a lot of embarassment.
When looking through the University of Texas’ media guide, it was discovered that somehow, they misspelled the very name of their state. At the bottom of every other page in the guide, Texas was instead spelled Texsa! They have since corrected the mistake in the downloadable version of the guide, but, unfortunately for Texas fans, many rival school’s fans documented the error.

Someone even took the time to purchase the domain TexsaSports.com. It would appear to be an OU fan, as the page basically is just a basic html website showing pictures making fun of the Longhorns and promoting Oklahoma. It also includes the message “OU IS BETTER THAN TEXAS. LEARN TO SPELL PLEASE, HRONS.”
