My wife and I have totally different shopping techniques, as do most couples. I like to get in and “get ‘er done” and Moe likes to browse. Also like other couples, we usually head in different directions once we got through the doors. I always head off to the one department that used to be relegated only to males, the tool section. Once upon a time, we men could browse the isles at our leisure, admiring the array of socket sets, belt sanders and work gloves without running into a member of the opposite sex. But with all the DYI shows and YouTube videos, women have discovered that they can do most home projects themselves. Now delighted squeals of "Cool!" and "Did you see these?!" can be heard down hardware isles everywhere.

The Original Pink Box has discovered this untapped market and has begun making tools and accessories for the ladies. Did I mention all their products are pink.

Craftsman was for crafts-men, but not anymore. Moe LOVES going into the tool section of hardware stores. Here is Moe posing with some of the items now available to the ladies. She recently installed our over-the-range microwave oven. Evidently women know what an instruction manual is and since she did it in a third of the time it took me to at another house, I have from this moment forward relegated all future home projects to her. I for one welcome our new handi-person overlords!
