Here are some different and tasty recipes that you can try for your Fourth of July cookout.

Instead of just a plain-old-burger, why not add a little Swiss cheese to your burgers and then top them off with those mushrooms you were sautéing. A wonderful glaze for both can be made with butter, mustard, soy sauce and sugar sauce.

You can also garnish that burger with caramelized onions and of course, crispy bacon.

For a more sophisticated taste, how about pork tenderloin sprinkled with paprika, brown sugar and other spices grilled to perfection before drizzling it with a brown sugar and ketchup sauce.

One of my favorite summertime memories is of my dad making hushpuppies at the summer fish fry! You can make your own jalapeño hash puppies for a fun to add that spicy kick to your recipes.

There's something about homemade ice cream that makes summer cookouts more memorable, so take the time and make your own the summer for a cooling touch on hot peach cobbler.

Tell us your 4th of July favorites!
