Two new movies are hitting theaters this weekend, 'Straight Outta Compton' and 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'.

Ice Cube and Dr. Dre produced this movie about how they came up from the streets of one of the most dangerous cities to form N.W.A, the most influential gangster rap group of the '80s. Eazy-EDj Yella, and MC Ren rounded out the rest of their group.

Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. plays him in the movie, Paul Giamatti is their manager and a guy named Corey Hawkins plays Dr. Dre.

I shouldn't have to tell you what N.W.A stands for but, for the musically-challenged, it means [N-wordz] with Attitude. Their angry lyrics exposed people to what life was really like in the hood and one of their popular songs was the rebellious hit "(Eff) the Police".

So if you want an overly-dramatized, partially-accurate account of what N.W.A went through, you'll just listen to their songs and skip the movie.

2.  "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."  (PG-13)  Trailer 1 and Trailer 2

This spy movie based on a classic TV series about a CIA agent named Napoleon Solo who partners with a KGB agent to recover a nuclear bomb from a terrorist organization.  U.N.C.L.E. stands for United Network Command for Law and Enforcement.

Henry Cavill from "Man of Steel" plays Solo, and "Lone Ranger" star Armie Hammer is the KGB agent.  It also stars Alicia Vikander from "Ex Machina" as the daughter of a missing scientist, who becomes their best chance of stopping the bad guys.
