The "Blessing Box" created by a Big Spring man, has inspired two more West Texas towns to join in.

According to NewsWest 9, Eric Escamilla created the boxes in Big Spring to help those in need and created more and more boxes in the Big Spring community and inspired others who are doing the same.

The "Blessing Box" trend then moved into Midland and Odessa and now two more West Texas towns have made their own "Blessing Box," those towns are Lamesa and Seminole.

Berenda Putman was inspired by Escamilla's story and created one in Lamesa and in less than a month five more boxes were created in Lamesa.

Ofelia Suarez in Seminole has also began the "Blessing Box" trend through the inspiration of Escamilla.

That puts the total number of "Blessing Box" locations in West Texas to 16, 7 in Big Spring, 1 in Midland, 1 in Odessa, 1 in Seminole, and 6 in Lamesa.
