If you're unfamiliar with the story of JonBenét Ramsey's murder, television's doing its darndest to catch you up to speed as the 20th anniversary of the young beauty pageant contestant's death approaches.

Lifetime's original movie Who Killed JonBenét? will revisit the unsolved case surrounding the six-year-old this fall, Deadline reported today (August 10). And it's the third TV project planned in anticipation of JonBenet's Christmas Day 1996 murder — Investigation Discovery's produced a three-night event set to begin on September 12, and CBS has a documentary series in the works that will kick off on September 18.

Who Killed JonBenétwill focus on the immediate aftermath of the discovery of the child's body. Her father, John, and his friend allegedly found JonBenét strangled and swaddled in her favorite white blanket in the family's wine cellar. She'd been asphyxiated by a garrote and had fractures to her skull. Some evidence suggested that someone in the family had killed her: Pineapple had been found in her system that seemed to connect to a bowl of pineapple upstairs, and the garrote, partially constructed from a broken paintbrush, seemed to connect to bristles found in a tub that contained art supplies that belonged to her mother Patsy.

JonBenét's brother Burke, who was nine-years-old at the time of his sister's death, was also considered a suspect. 2008 DNA evidence seemed to clear the family, according to ABC Newsand the case officially remains unsolved.

Eion Bailey, Michel Gill (aka Gideon from Mr. Robot) and Julia Campbell will star. Brian L. Ross wrote the script and Jason Lapeyre is directing.
