Know know the old saying 'You can't judge a movie by its trailer?' Me neither, since there's no such saying. There are plenty of movies you've been able to judge by the trailer, take for example the new' Star Trek Beyond' movie; I can already tell I hate it.

Excuse me while I address Simon Pegg, Doug Jung and Justin Lin: Hey, Dummies! Stop blowing up the freaking Enterprise as a plot device!

There, I almost feel better but not quite. The problem with this new franchise all along, has been their treatment of the Enterprise as a 'thing' and not as a member of the cast. For some reason, this is lost on generations that never saw the original Star Trek, first hand.

She is a 'she' for a reason. To use her as nothing more than a prop or a plot device, going down in flames over and over is like killing Mr. Spock or Capt. Kirk and every episode.

You can jump your little motorcycles, provide the Captain hot aliens to mate with, but until you get that, 'ONE THING', you won't have the hearts of the fans. Do you hear me boys? Until you get this through your skull, you will never be able to duplicate the magic of the original Star Trek, no matter how much money you spend, no matter how well the actors play their parts, until you figure out '...it's the Enterprise, dummy.', you will be doomed to the 'almost was' drawer.
