With cold temperatures expected tonight, it’s important to make sure your house and pets aren’t at risk. If you have a water well that is not well insulated, run water at a slow pace to prevent freezing and breaking pipes. As water freezes it expands, which can break metal or PVC pipes. Another consideration is how to make sure your pets survive the cold. If they have to remain outside, make sure they have a place they can stay that keeps the wind off of them.
